Quality Assurance
PUROHIT STEEL is committed to fostering a culture that embraces lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and advanced technology to ensure precise product and process control. By instilling discipline and rigorous documentation in line with ISO/TS guidelines, PUROHIT STEEL prioritizes quality assurance at every level
Producing high-quality products is an ongoing journey that begins with equipment and processes designed to maintain strict standards. To achieve comprehensive quality control, we employ a wide range of measurement and inspection tools, including gauges, calipers, profilometers, spectrophotometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), statistical process control (SPC), first article inspection (FAI), and 3D laser scanning equipment. Additionally, our facility operates in full compliance with RoHS standards.
Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)
Our Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) allows for precise inspection of 3D features and geometric tolerances that cannot be accurately measured with standard tools or vision systems. The CMM is programmed to probe parts at specific locations based on product specifications. Once programmed, it operates under computer control, significantly minimizing operator-related variations and ensuring consistent measurement accuracy.
Processes
With the increasing complexity of today’s molded parts, certain dimensions are physically impossible to measure using standard tools, vision systems, or even touch probe machines. In these cases, more advanced measurement methods are required to achieve greater precision.
PUROHIT STEEL utilizes a 3D laser scanner from ShapeGrabber to complement our CMM. This technology enables our quality department to capture millions of measurement points within minutes, providing highly detailed and accurate data for comprehensive inspection.

Our Quality Engineers follow a rigorous Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process involving cross-functional teams. At PUROHIT STEEL, however, quality is embraced as the responsibility of every team member.
